Privacy
Your stuff is your stuff.
No legalese. Here's exactly what happens to what you share here.
The short version
Your journal, moods, thought records and safety plan are yours. Only you can read them — not other users, not your parents, and not us browsing for fun.
We don't sell anything about you. We don't run ads. We don't use tracking pixels.
What we keep
Your email (so you can sign in) and a username you pick. Please don't use your real name.
An age range, like 13–17. We ask your birth month and year once, work out the range, and throw the rest away. We never store your birthday.
Whatever you choose to save: journal entries, mood check-ins, your safety plan, thought records.
What we never keep
Your real name, your photo, your full birthday, your location, or your contacts' details beyond what you type into your own safety plan.
Using tools without an account
Breathing, grounding and the other tools work without signing in. Nothing you type there leaves your device.
When someone might look
If you post in the community (when it opens), trained moderators can read posts to keep it safe. If a post sounds like you might be in danger, it's paused and we send you a private message with free help lines.
We're not an emergency service and we don't watch the site 24/7. If you're in danger, use the Need help now? button.
Taking or deleting your stuff
In Settings you can download everything as a file, or delete your account and all your data with one button. Deleted means deleted.
